Supervision

Supervision

Humane Clinic Psychotherapy Collective offers supervision to individuals and groups. Supervision is an important part of spending time with other people in therapeutic, supportive or helping roles. The principles that inform the collective’s approach to psychotherapy in turn form the basis for a non-directional and reflective supervision space for clinicians and other professionals.

The Humane Clinic supervision framework demonstrates that the therapist and the client are equally human and require the same human to human connection in working towards a good life and developing ethical practice in reflections on life and work.

Supervision by Humane Clinic Psychotherapy Collective practitioners also seeks to provide a supportive and collaborative space for professionals working to do things differently within systems or outside of systems.

Resources

Humane Clinic Psychotherapy Collective recognises that a person’s expression of distress, in whatever form it takes, is a function of communicating their needs. We consider each human being as the person best placed to be the arbiter of their own experiences, the author of their own story, and the leader of their own life journey. We seek to acknowledge your experiences, hear your story, and respect your autonomy.
